The poem Praying for the Lost was written during a period within my life where I struggle with self esteem, fear and doubt while battling several health challenges. As I press forward with the will to live, I pray to encourage, inspire and motivate the continuous belief in hope, faith and love for grace and change within myself and throughout humanity.
As I look over in the sky, I search for answers.
I search for questions to who, what, when,where, why and how?
I still need these answers now!
The pain, the loss, the grief is overwhelming and sad,
Yet, it is the power of prayer is the key in what lies within the good and beyond the bad.
For through prayer, faith and trust in God, the lost can be found in all we face.
With mercy and the lesson in forgiveness, lost souls will be able to find peace in God’s amazing grace.
