The poem Trusting in my own Instincts was written as an affirmation to myself in conquering my inner fears, doubts and judgment in life. Through experience, wise advice from others as well as my abiding faith, I have learn an important lesson in forgiveness and acceptance of oneness within and throughout humanity.
Why do I fear the worst?
Since I fear that the worst is a missed opportunity to do your best.
Why do I fear trust?
Since I believe trust is a way to understand humanity through a test.
Why do I fear my own worth?
Since it is what I believe to be true.
Why do I fear myself?
Since I am who I am in all I do.
I have hope, faith, love as well as respect, along with the willingness to connect,
Then, all I need to do is to trust in my own instincts.
